I normally don't post random YouTube videos, but I stumbled across this gem and it's just brilliant on so many levels.

Never before have I seen a home-movie/amateur-nature-documentary be so unintentionally scary, gross, hilarious, & adorable all at the same time.

The arthropod in question is a type of "Huntsman Spider" [Heteropoda maxima], A.K.A. "Giant Crab Spiders". Apparently they aren't very poisonous or harmful to humans, but I'd imagine they're responsible for many heart-attacks or fainting-induced skull fractures...
